Our hope is that everyone will come to love God, accept a relationship with his son Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit guide your everyday life. “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.” (Luke 10:27a)
We are commanded to love people. We don’t care what you look like or how you dress. “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27b)
Every single one of us has scars, either on the inside or out. We want to walk through life with you and your scars and watch God doing something new in your life! “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
Nearly one year ago, Scars Church began. It was never supposed to look like your ordinary, cookie-cutter church. Instead, it was birthed around a call. It was a call to worship, to help people far from God realize that it doesn’t matter how far away you feel, how scarred and messed up you might be, Jesus still wants to know you. That still holds true today. As Scars continues to navigate its existence and what God might be doing through this small community, there will always be a place for you. Questions?
