40 Days. That’s it. We are only 40 days away from Scars.Church launching its first public worship service!
Acts 13:2 says, “One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Appoint Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them.” I don’t know about you, but I long for God to use us in the special work He has called us to. We have been called to make Jesus famous throughout our city, region, and the ends of the earth. We will do everything, short of sin, to reach people.
1 John 5:14-15 says, “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”
I won’t beat around the bush. I’ll get straight to the point.
I would like to ask you to join me over the next 40 days to fast and pray. Fast at least once a week, but pray constantly for the launch and outreach of Scars.Church. Pray that God will continue to bring people to help us in all areas of ministry and that He will put people in our paths that need their lives changed. Pray for encounters. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move and speak in us and through us.
Will you join me?
We must be confident that God hears us whenever we ask anything that pleases Him. God wants His church to thrive and not fail. Please join us in praying that God will be glorified through Scars.Church and that we will accomplish all He has planted in our hearts. Pray that He will do “God things” and it will blow our minds.
We still have needs. We still need a few thousand dollars to be fully set, but we are launching no matter what. God has provided and He will continue to provide. I’m already blown away at how much He has done in such a short amount of time.
Thank you for your prayers. They mean so much to my family, team, and myself. If God lays it on your heart to help us by volunteering, please send an email to email@example.com. If you want to help us financially, please visit the Give page for more information.
